0739 GMT - The FTSE 100 is expected to open 24 points lower at 7547 on concerns about U.S.-European trade relations after comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, according to London Capital Markets. Mr. Trump said he wants to reach an agreement on trade with the European Union before the U.S. presidential election, and threatened to levy tariffs if talks failed. “Markets are visibly too complacent about the prospects for global trade in 2020,” said Jasper Lawler at LCG. The continued spread of the coronavirus in China also remains a concern for investors. Focus on Thursday will center on a European Central Bank meeting later. Among individual stocks, Anglo American will be watched after releasing 4Q production numbers.
